The AC Surge Protection Device (SPD) Type II is an essential electrical protection device engineered to shield low-voltage AC power systems from transient overvoltage caused by indirect lightning strikes, switching operations, and electrical disturbances. Installed in electrical distribution boards and switchgear panels, it safely diverts surge currents to ground, protecting connected equipment from damage.
